We hope to produce more videos and get people talking and thinking. Talking about the issues of bigotry, homophobia and radical nationalism can be a bit awkward, but it's really important that you do. Everyone can benefit from honestly listening to the points of view of others.
One of our core values is to educate and facilitate discussion regardless of educational level. Sure, we can put on our structural anthropological semiology fancy-pants (too many disciplines there to be a mere hat) but that defeats our purpose. We can if we have to. Besides, most of the people that are actively opposed to our mission really wouldn't get that stuff anyway.
One last word about the video, for now the comments are open and hope to be able to leave them that way. The word 'Hitler' is somewhat likely to attract a few trolls that will spout hate speech. On the video description we make no apologies about deleting hate speech and we will follow through as much as possible allowing for sleeping and eating. If you see some, try not to react but if you do we'd encourage taking the high road. You can drop us a note and we'll delete hate speech, and we're keeping an eye on it. Debate however is to be encouraged, as long as it stays respectful (We know, You Tube comments are not known for civility.)
Please enjoy and share!
